Yacht Charter On The Clyde And Beyond

We offer bareboat yacht charter, corporate days and skippered yacht charters on our fleet of 30-45 foot yachts. With over 25 years' experience and a dedicated on-site team based at Largs Yacht Haven, you can trust us to deliver your ideal sailing holiday in Scotland. All of our yachts feature modern navigation instruments, central heating, standard mainsails and furling headsails. Most feature an electric windlass and autopilot and some also come equipped with bow thrusters to make things even easier for you. We also provide full safety equipment, lifejackets and harness lines to ensure your safety on board. We like to go the extra mile and supply a tender with oars and outboard motor free of charge with every booking.. Don't have all your own gear or want to travel light? Just let us know and we'll get you kitted out with waterproofs, wellies and bedding if you wish to hire them.

The safety of our clients and our staff is very important to us. We've been working hard to make sure that our staff and customers are safe on board. Here are just a few of the things that we've put in place in response to the current Coronavirus situation to give you peace of mind and allow you to concentrate on enjoying your holiday:

We've conducted full risk assessments and have updated our operating procedures accordingly

We've implemented enhanced cleaning protocols including deep cleaning and sanitising of each yacht after every charter followed by spraying the entire boat before each new client arrival with our professional grade antiviral fogging equipment to ensure nothing is missed

We've altered our check-in and handover procedures to reduce person to person contact.

We've created a series of virtual handovers for each yacht which help to eliminate the need for our staff to go below deck with you. These can be viewed on your laptop, tablet or smartphone.

We're now using electronic handover and handback forms to minimise the need for paper products.

With a wide range of high quality yachts ranging from 30-45 feet with 6 to 10 berths you will be sure to find the perfect boat for you. Our Bavaria 30 is perfect for couples and small groups or less experienced sailors. Our Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349 is a bright airy modern yacht that is a dream to sail and ideal for a romantic getaway or family holiday. Our 40 footers are brilliant for all types of yachting holiday and are ideal for most group sizes and abilities. We can also offer a skipper for any of our yachts if required. Our two new Beneteau Oceanis 45s are fabulous large modern yachts suitable for larger groups, private skippered charters, luxury sailing and corporate days. They are luxurious yachts which are capable of longer journeys, fast sailing and an exhilarating all-round experience.

You may choose to take a drift back in time as you sample the old-world charm of the seaside resorts of Millport and Rothesay or you may prefer to head up to Tarbert for lively entertainment and bustling pubs or Portavadie for a spot of pampering and a swim in the infinity pool.
